Terms & Conditions

These DTF Prints terms and conditions govern all purchases and use of the DTF-Prints.com website. Please read them carefully before placing an order. For questions about consumer protection under Florida law, see the Florida Statutes.

1. Orders, Returns & Cancellations

Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, creating an account, or using the DTF-Prints.com website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all purchases, services, and use of the DTF-Prints.com website.

DTF-Prints.com reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the website or placement of orders after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not place an order or use our services.

Custom Orders & No Returns Policy

All DTF transfers, gang sheets, and custom-printed products are made to order based on customer-provided specifications. Because every order is custom, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on printed products.

You are responsible for verifying all artwork, sizing, quantities, and product selections before placing your order. What you upload is what we print — we are not responsible for errors in customer-submitted files, including low resolution, incorrect dimensions, missing transparency, or wrong color modes.

We strongly recommend reviewing your files carefully and using our artwork guidelines before ordering. If you have questions about your files, contact us before placing your order at [email protected].

Cancellations

We understand that every situation is different, and we genuinely want every customer to be happy. If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to work with you.

Because we offer same-day processing on orders placed before 4:00 PM EST, the window for cancellation can be very short. Reach out immediately at [email protected] or call (386) 327-0009.

  • If your order has not been printed: We will work with you on a resolution, which may include account credit (store credit) or other options at our discretion.
  • If your order has already been printed or shipped: Cancellation may not be possible since the product has already been custom-made. We will still do our best to find a fair resolution on a case-by-case basis.

Defective or Damaged Orders

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you receive an order with a legitimate defect caused by our printing process, we want to make it right.

To file a claim, you must:

  • Contact us within 7 business days of delivery
  • Provide photo evidence clearly showing the defect
  • Include your order number

Defects we cover:

  • Print quality issues (smearing, streaking, color bleeding caused by our equipment)
  • Adhesion failure when pressed according to our instructions
  • Wrong size or wrong product shipped (our error)

Not covered:

  • Low-resolution or pixelated artwork (file quality is customer’s responsibility)
  • Incorrect files uploaded by the customer
  • Improper heat pressing (wrong temperature, time, or pressure)
  • Color shifts resulting from RGB-to-CMYK conversion (monitors display colors differently than print)
  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind

Resolution: At our sole discretion, we will offer a reprint of the affected items or account credit. Cash refunds are not guaranteed.

Shipping damage: We primarily ship via UPS, and all packages include a base insurance value of $50. If we ship via USPS, the same base insurance applies. If your package arrives damaged by the carrier, you must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier (UPS or USPS). We are happy to assist you with the claims process.

2. Payments, Chargebacks & Collections

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly before filing any chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. Most concerns can be resolved through direct communication.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed for an order that has been fulfilled, shipped, and/or delivered — including orders for which account credit has already been issued as a resolution (whether or not the credit has been used) — you agree to pay the following:

  • Payment processor chargeback fee: The actual fee assessed by our payment processor (currently $15–$25 per incident), passed through at cost.
  • Administrative investigation fee: A flat fee of $50 per dispute. This fee represents a reasonable pre-estimate of the actual costs DTF-Prints.com incurs for staff time spent gathering transaction evidence, preparing dispute responses, and communicating with payment processors and issuing banks. This is a liquidated damages provision and is not a penalty.

DTF-Prints.com reserves the right to dispute all chargebacks and will provide complete transaction evidence — including order details, shipping confirmation, delivery tracking, and communication records — to the payment processor and/or issuing bank.

Filing a chargeback for a product or service that was received as described constitutes friendly fraud. Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Your account will be suspended during any active chargeback dispute and may be permanently closed at our discretion.

Unpaid Balances & Collections

Any unpaid balance — including but not limited to disputed order amounts, chargeback fees, administrative fees, and reversed transactions — constitutes a debt owed to DTF-Prints.com.

DTF-Prints.com reserves the right to refer unpaid balances to a third-party collection agency registered with the State of Florida, in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA, Chapter 559, Florida Statutes).

Unpaid debts may be reported to one or more credit reporting agencies, which may negatively affect your credit score.

By agreeing to these terms, you consent to receiving collection communications via telephone, email, text message, or written notice regarding any outstanding balance.

You are responsible for all costs associated with the collection of unpaid balances, including but not limited to collection agency fees, court costs, and attorney’s fees.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Venue

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms, your use of the website, or any transaction with DTF-Prints.com shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida.

You irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objection to jurisdiction, venue, or inconvenient forum.

For disputes involving amounts under $8,000, either party may elect to resolve the matter in Florida Small Claims Court (County Court) in Hillsborough County.

Attorney’s Fees & Legal Costs

In any legal action, proceeding, or arbitration to enforce these Terms & Conditions or to resolve any dispute arising from a transaction with DTF-Prints.com, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, filing fees, and all other litigation expenses from the non-prevailing party.

This provision applies to all actions including, but not limited to, breach of contract claims, payment disputes, chargeback recovery, and collection actions.

Pursuant to Florida Statute §57.105(7), this attorney’s fees provision is reciprocal and applies equally to both parties.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DTF-Prints.com’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific order in question.

In no event shall DTF-Prints.com, its owners, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Lost profits or revenue
  • Business interruption
  • Cost of substitute goods or services
  • Loss of data or business opportunities

DTF-Prints.com is not responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by shipping carriers, weather events, natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DTF-Prints.com, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your breach of any provision of these Terms & Conditions
  • Your use of products purchased from DTF-Prints.com
  • Any artwork, designs, or content you submit for printing
  • Any chargeback or payment dispute filed by you or on your behalf
  • Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights

This indemnification obligation survives the termination of your account and/or your relationship with DTF-Prints.com.

4. Intellectual Property & Artwork

Who is responsible for artwork rights?

By submitting artwork, designs, images, or any other content to DTF-Prints.com for printing, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the artwork or have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, or rights to reproduce it
  • The artwork does not infringe upon any third party’s copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
  • You have the legal authority to authorize DTF-Prints.com to print the submitted content

DTF-Prints.com is a print service provider. We print what customers submit and do not verify ownership or licensing of submitted artwork. We are not responsible for any intellectual property infringement by customers.

We reserve the right to refuse any order that we reasonably believe infringes on third-party intellectual property rights, contains unlawful content, or violates any applicable law.

You agree to indemnify DTF-Prints.com against any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from intellectual property disputes related to your submitted artwork.

Can DTF-Prints.com refuse to print my artwork?

Yes. We reserve the right to decline any order at our sole discretion if we believe the submitted content:

  • Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Contains unlawful, obscene, or threatening content
  • Violates any applicable federal, state, or local law

If we refuse an order, you will be notified and any payment collected will be refunded in full.

5. SMS / Text Messaging

What types of text messages will I receive?

By providing your mobile phone number on DTF-Prints.com or during checkout, you may receive the following types of text messages:

Transactional messages (sent automatically with your purchase):

  • Order confirmations and status updates
  • Shipping notifications and tracking information
  • Delivery updates and customer service communications

Promotional messages (require your explicit opt-in consent):

  • Special offers, discounts, and sales
  • New product announcements

How do I opt out of text messages?

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Your opt-out will be processed within 15 days in compliance with Florida law (F.S. §501.059). After you send STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message.

  • Promotional and marketing messages are sent only between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Eastern Time (EST/EDT). Automated transactional messages — such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and delivery updates — may be sent at any time based on when you place your order.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.
  • Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.
  • We will never share, sell, or rent your mobile number to third parties.
  • By providing your number, you represent that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile device and that you are at least 18 years of age.
  • Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We may modify or discontinue our SMS program at any time.

6. General Provisions

Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DTF-Prints.com regarding your use of the website and all purchases. These terms supersede any prior agreements, representations, or understandings.

No Waiver

The failure of DTF-Prints.com to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a continuing or further waiver of that term or any other term.
